Laney is walking.....I mean running!!!! We were at my mom's house tonight celebrating my little sister Caitlin's 22nd birthday. (Birthday Happy, Cait!!) Everyone was there and we were having such a good time. Laney was laughing her head off with Claire all night. The girls all wore matching outfits from Bobbis and Aunt Caitlin and there have never been three cuter girls!!!
Like I have said in recent posts, Laney LOVES walking lately. We spend most of our time walking around the house or the backyard with Laney holding on tightly to one of my fingers. Well, tonight she kicked the training wheels (a.k.a. mommy's finger) to the curb! Our girl is a full out walker. I am not talking like she took a few steps. She walked clear across the room more times than I could count. The only reason she stopped was because she ran out of floor! She was so excited and she couldn't wait to stand up and do it again!!! It was so perfect that my whole family got to be there and cheer for her. My mom said that she might have developed a little bit of a love for the limelight after all of tonight's cheering.

Laney smiles so much lately, it is hard for me to not take her picture every second. We are so blessed by our sweet, happy, WALKING girl!!!!!

That is so great! I can't believe that we have missed being there this week to see her walk. Joshua can't wait to hold her hand and walk together!

That was so sweet that you caught that all on tape! How cool to see your whole family cheering her on! By the way...can we say Martin Cheerleader..that one pic with her mouth wide open says it all!
Oh the Laney-cuteness!!!!! And walking to boot. Life as you once knew it is SO over as after walking the climbing soon follows and may I be the first to tell you that Chung Yi baby girls are very good at it and can scare their mommas to death with how high they can get in less than 30 seconds time...Chung Yi baby girls have no fear as they lob things from the tops shelves and cackle as their momma leaps across the room in one bound and grabs them as they teeter on the edge of the shelve and begin to fall--all at warp speed. And Chung Yi baby girls smile so cute when they are rescued that it (almost) makes their mommas forget all about the broken picture frame they threw to the ground with such delight. Congrats on your walking baby girl, the video is precious.

Hey, I'm not sure if you remember me from DBU, but I came across your online journal of your journey waiting for your sweet little girl, and I was SO very touched by it. I bawled my head off really. But so encouraged by your trust in the Lord while waiting...it speaks volumes to me right now. I also saw on your blog a picture of your daughter with Tyce H. - Holly is one of my best friends in the world! Didn't know y'all knew each other. Anyway, I've enjoyed reading, so thanks for sharing!
