Grapefest!!!

We went to Grapevine on Thursday night with the Murrells and the Hartsfields. They invited us to Grapefest, an outdoor festival with lots of live music, booths, and yummy food. It was really fun to hang out with our friends and get to watch Laney and her sweet friends play together! We parked right by the train in downtown Grapevine, which might have been enough of an attraction for Laney. She loves spotting choo choo trains. The trains that she sees are usually on their way "home to their mommies to go night night."We stopped at one of the stages for a little dancing to some Beatles music. Laney's version of dancing this evening was holding my hand and running in circles around me.

And doing some racing back and forth between me and Todd. So fast, I can't even focus :) And jumping "Down..........UP!!!!"
At one point, Laney, Ella and Josh all ran up to give me a hug. I don't know what I did to get so lucky, but I'll take it!!! Melissa thinks that they were all trying to talk to the twinsies! That is pretty sweet too!!

What better meal at a festival than a huge corny dog. This started out as the biggest corn dog I have ever seen. Laney (and Todd) made short work of it!!
The KidsLand area at Grapefest had a bounce house that the kids were loving! I cant't believe how much Laney loves to be in a bounce house. She can't control her body in there and she flails around like crazy, but it is like heaven to her.
