On the Home Stretch!!!!!

Here are some amazing pictures of my sweet boys together for the very first time. They are in separate cribs and I am sure that they are missing each other so much! Janelle came for a visit to the NICU the other day and she didn't fail to capture some perfect pictures of Miles and Sam!!!
This was my first time to hold them at the same time since I was on the operating table. I love them together in my arms. More please!
Mr. Miles with the biggest cutest smile for Janelle. He loves her already!
Sleeping Sam in Todd's lap.
Janelle got to take a break from snapping shots to snuggle up with Sam for a bit!

We got to give the boys their first bath last week. They totally hated it, but they were still so cute. Todd styled their hair for them afterwards, so they obviously ended up with their very first faux hawks!!
One for Miles..... And one for Sam!
All dressed after bathtime in their coordinating outfits!
GREAT NEWS!!! The boys are doing so well!! They have BOTH gotten their feeding tubes removed and taken ALL of their required bottles since then!!!! This means that they will be coming home very very soon!!! Like in a few days soon!!!!!!!!!!! Can you hear us celebrating!?!?!

They had a carseat test in the middle of the night last night. They have to sit in it for an hour and a half with all their vitals being monitored to make sure that their heartrates and respiratory rates are maintained. They passed!!!!! What good little students!
Miles demonstrating his skills!!!!
Almost all of my pictures of Sam are sleeping ones. He is really mellow and chilling out most of the time. It is so funny to me how so far their personalities match their in utero activity. I could hardly ever feel Sam except for smushing up under my ribs. Miles was all over the place in there, just like he is now! Who knows if things will stay that way.
Look at my little Miles the smurf boy. He has the biggest most alert eyes. This picture showcases them a little bit!

Oh, and in my tummy Lucy (baby A) was always the crazy one and Jack (baby B) was always smooshed up under my right ribs and was quite mellow- and they STILL are 18 months later- she is my crazy daredevil and he is mr. mellow-

Can't wait to see your family on your front doorstep!

These pics are so great! What beautiful boys you have! This is making me wish I could have 10 more minutes with Jackson as a newborn. Okay, now I'm about to cry! Praise God for the great progress they're making and for the fact that they will be home soon. Yeah! My heart is so full and happy for you!
