Every year on Thanksgiving, my family does the Turkey Trot in Dallas (see here!) It is such a fun part of our Thanksgiving traditions. However, this year we didn't think that it would be great idea to introduce our 6 pound babies to 35,000 people in the middle of downtown Dallas. My whole sweet family decided to bypass the trot this year and participate in the Twin Trot instead. Jessica made t-shirts for all of us (she is beyond amazing!) and my whole family met at her house Thursday morning and then walked to our house........TWIN TROT!!!
The Twin Trot honorees looking super cute in their matching shirts!
We usually have pumpkin oatmeal pancakes at our house before we race to the TRE and head to downtown Dallas to trot. This year, pancakes came after the trotting and it was nice to have more time to savor the pancakes and our morning together!
The boys loved all their family time this weekend. Lots of loving from everyone!
Embarking on the Twin Trot! It was so much fun. I have the best family ever that they were willing to cater our day around the boys. It was perfect!

After we finished trotting and pancaking, we got ready for Thanksgiving with Todd's mom and sister. They also were willing to center the day around us. They came over to our house with all of their yummy food and we had such a blast with them!

Miles had one too. His was a little pumpkin.
Big sister sported her Twin Trot shirt all day and was loving every minute at the Thanksgiving table!!
I feel a little guilty about these pictures of our sweet blessings overflowing in this cornucopia. They did not love the experience!

After a fun afternoon with Grommy and Aunt Hailey (and a sweet visit from Nae Nae and Aunt Jenn) we went to my mom's house for our Pickles and Pies extravaganza! This is my family's version of a Thanksgiving Feast. My mom puts together a huge spread of all the yummiest appetizers and dessserts imaginable. This was the boys very first outing ever unless you count our three trips to the doctor for weight checks (which they are passing with flying colors!) It was fun to get in the car with all three of our carseats and head off on an adventure!

Sam showing off his own expressiveness in the bouncy seat!

Jill helped Laney eat her lime popsicle even though it was a super messy endeavor resulting in lime popsicle juice everywhere!
And of course here are some cuties of the boys getting "real baths" since they are both sans umbilical cord!!
Sam loving it!
