The biggest development for Sam is his little tooth. It is so cute and little. Sam is way better about eating these days. He likes mostly everything and does a great job of opening his mouth big and gulping those fruits and veggies right down. Sam really really likes clapping. Even when he is sad and crying, if I start clapping for him, he starts smiling. Both boys love when I sing, "If You're Happy and You Know It." It happens lots of times a day at our house. Sam isn't trying to crawl yet, but he gets all over the place by rolling. He just rolie polies himself all around the room. Changing Sam's diaper is getting to be a real challenge. He desperately wants to flip over and be on his tummy. It is like a wrestling match. I can only imagine what it is going to be like when he gets bigger and stronger. Sam has not been loving our water experiences very much so far this summer. I am hoping that he acquires a love for water play, but so far he just seems pretty annoyed by the splashing and sprinkling. Sam generally wakes up so so happy. I love peeking over his crib at him because as soon as he sees me, he breaks into a huge grin and has to hide his face from me.
No teeth for the Miles Man yet, but there are two that are very much on the brink of popping through. He does not seem to be too bothered by them. He has been so so happy and content these days. There has definitely been a shift between the brothers. Miles has been much less needy than Sam lately. I say that because I feel like Miles has gotten the high maintenance rap for a while now, so I think that he deserves a little credit for his recent easiness!! He is army crawling with some real consistency. I have made the mistake of leaving a full glass of Crystal Light too close to him one too many times. Carpets cleaned and lesson learned! Miles really loves to have kisses on his tummy. Of course Sam does too, but Miles gives some pretty big belly laughs every time. He is the grabbiest little guy ever. He will grab anything within his reach, but hair is definitely his favorite. We are all learning to keep our hair away from him. Even Laney is protective of her pony tails. Poor Sam and his silly long tuft of hair on top of his head. You can almost see Miles's eyes light up when Sam's head is close enough to him. I have to be careful when they are nursing, because Miles's hands go straight for Sam's little wispy hairs. Miles loves the water. He will take a spray right to the face and just keep smiling and splashing. It is lots of fun to play with him in the little pools. Hopefully he can convince Sam to get on the water bandwagon!
Laney wanted to be a part of the pictures today.

Cute post!
Why don't you tell Miles about his own tuft of curls that he can pull on all day long :)
