She was so excited to wake up and celebrate her fourness! She loved showing us how old she was all day long.
She got to open her presents throughout the day.
She asked her brothers to help her which was pretty sweet!
I got her this little journal with a lowercase "L" on it. When I was wrapping it, Todd asked me why I got her a journal with a #1 on it. Laney opened it and said, very excitedly, "A ONE BOOK!"
So, usually I make Laney special pancakes or something on her birthday, but this year, I went all out!!! A very special breakfast of Rice Crispies off the kitchen floor!!!!
We had very few groceries yet, since we moved back in like twelve hours prior to this. I did bring half a box of Rice Crispies with us from Grommy's house. I think that Miles got a hold of it out of a box in the kitchen and within seconds it was dumped all over the floor. And because I obviously never feed my children, they dove on the cereal like a pack of wild dogs. Obviously I probably shouldn't have gotten my camera and taken pictures of this hilarity, but I couldn't resist!
Rice Crispies never tasted so good!
Even Zilla stepped up to help clean up the mess.
Miles has a monopoly on the brooms at our house!
One Four Year Old here, ready to take care of business!
