Nocona!!!

We made a super quick trip up to Cona a few weeks ago. We got to celebrate Pops's birthday and have an early birthday for Laney too!
Uncle Colt was there and at the ready to get some big smiles from my kids.We love Nae Nae!!!
Laney had a late night present opening celebration for her birthday. She really does not like all eyes on her, so I had to really work to persuade her to open her presents. Once she got going, she was loving it!!!
The only thing that Laney asked for for her birthday was fingerpaints. She gets really one track minded about presents (remember the pink stapler at Christmas!?) Nae Nae made her dreams come true with this awesome set of washable finger paints!
The boys woke up super early the next morning, so we made a donut run in the dark to kill time before everyone else woke up! They were super delicious!!!
This picture cracks me up!!!!

Just Because He Is So CUTE!!!

Step for Two!

I just got trained and certified as an aerobics instructor for the Y. It has been a little embarrassing and a lot of fun. I am teaching a Step class on Saturday mornings, but that's it so far.

I brought this step home to practice with, but the boys thought that I brought it home for them to play with!

Sup!

Sam got a hold of Todd's Mavs hat and stayed true to his love of headwear. How hysterical are these expressions!!!!

Easter Night at Bobbis and Kev's!

After a fun filled day at Grommy's, we bolted over to Bobbis's house for an evening with them, the Goods, and Cait and Johnny! It was so much fun. The kids played in one of their favorite spots while the Easter Bunny stopped by to hide some more eggs!

Outside to hunt in Bobbis and Kevin's jungle front yard.

Time for dinner. Miles got a turn at the big kid table with some help from Kevin.
Some piano lessons for Laney and Sam from Johnny!

When we got home that night, Daddy was right behind us. The kids were just a little excited to see him!

Easter Morning!

Major changes happening with us right now!!! I have lots and lots to blog about and I don't have internet access for another week. I am swiping some computer time right now while the boys are napping at Grommy's house and I am supposed to be packing up our stuff (which is one of the major changes that I am referencing!) I am going to catch up on all my delinquent blogging and then write about our exciting changes, Laney's fourth birthday.......and so on!

It feels a little silly to be blogging about Easter when it feels like it happened ages ago. But I have got to catch up and I don't want to look back and not have these moments documented! The kids' baskets were waiting on them when they woke up on Easter morning. The boys woke up first, of course, and I had to keep them away from their baskets cause I wanted them to all open them together.

They checked them out for a smidge and then we went back to play in their room until Sister woke up. Sam's jammies are kind of embarrassing. That's why the good ole Bunny came through with some new ones!
Sam is the ultimate smiler for the camera! It is awesome. If I even point the camera in his direction, he usually busts out his signature crooked grin for me!
I obviously got no pictures of the basket opening, but it was fun!
Laney and I got to take a picture after church!
Our friend Sladonna and her precious six month old daughter, Sariah, joined us for Easter lunch. Laney is crazy about Sariah. All of her baby dolls are named Sariah and she even talks about how a baby named Sariah is growing in her tummy.

I just had to sneak in this picture of the little cakes that Lez and I made for dessert. We were so excited to try all these recipes that we found in magazines. We went a little crazy, but we had so much fun. We baked these cakes in 32 oz. crushed tomatoes cans!!! And Groms made these coconut squares that were so so tasty!
Granny and Jim came over too, which made Laney's heart very happy!
Aunt Hailey brought over giant baskets for the kids, complete with edible easter grass. They were thrilled!
Too bad Sam refused to live up to his "Ultimate Smiler" title in this picture. It would have been perfect!
Time for the Hunt!!!!

Seriously, Sam!!!!! He is making such a liar out of me!

Back inside to catalog all of their loot!
