Our last celebration of Christmas was with my dad. The Goods and Cait came over to our house to spend the day with Doc! The brothers got out their new magnetic letters from Santa to play with before the party went under way. I can not get over how grown up these little boys look in these two pictures!
There's that double chin making my little Bones look like one of my two favorite two year olds on the planet.
Aunt Cait helped Sam open his gifts!
Grant, in true Grant fashion, played with the brothers as soon as we walked through the door! Such a sweet big cousin!
Doc gave the brothers some lego-y type thing that they got excited about. Grant is a lego maniac, so he was confident that he could give Miles and Sam some lego building tips!
My dad brought all three girls a seriously special treat! American Girl dolls that look like them! After three Christmas celebrations, we caught on to the fact that Laney needed a little less exuberance while opening her gifts. She sat quietly with Todd and opened her gifts with a little less pressure. She did great! A couple of moments where she had to be reminded that being quiet and being rude are not the same thing, but for the most part, she did great!!!! She was obviously very happy with her new doll!
Sam and Miles each got Rocky the Dump Truck that is also related to Stinky the Trash Truck. They were pumped!
My dad is a Geologist and works in the oil industry, so he likes to represent with this gift for us each year. It is a giant oil derrick full of black jelly beans, which happen to be Jess's favorite.
Doc also brought two bags of regular Jelly Bellies. We all tore into ours and ate them so fast. Todd and I were talking about how addicting they are because you keep wanting to try all the different flavors. (stay away from the caramel corn and cappuccino if you ask me!)
A Jelly Belly crown for this princess!
The brothers get ready to tear into their next gift.
It's a wagon! But they are pretty impressed with the box itself!
Laney and her cousins loving their dolls together.
Miles and Sam opened up one more gift from Doc. A super cute Radio Flyer car just like the one that they love to ride that lives at the Goods' house.
How cute can one kid be????
I wanted to take a picture of all of us with my dad. He is displaying one of our gifts to him, this golf cooler/stool. Laney named her doll, Claire Tessa. Kind of hysterical!
The girls played some dress up and then sat down to eat cookies.Doc also gave the girls and their dolls matching jammies and slippers. It was pretty much the ultimate in cuteness!!!
