Jenna and Colt's wedding!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating with Colt and Jenna on their wedding day. Everything was so special and beautiful!  The kids did great, Todd made me and everyone else cry and the bride and groom were so unbelievably sweet!  It was a great day!!

Laney got to walk down the aisle with Todd since he was officiating the ceremony.  She wasn't the least bit nervous!   

 The brothers were so so so cute coming down the aisle right before Aunt Jenn!  A friend of hers wrapped this board in burlap and painted it for the brothers to carry!  They did a great job too! 

 This picture is just about the sweetest thing that I have ever seen.  I love this last look up!!

 Todd talked about the day that Jenna was born, the first time that she ever said his name, watching countless Disney movies with her when she was little and about how quickly Colt won him over when he and Jenna started dating.  It was such a sweet ceremony!! 

Now for the non professional pictures!  We got the wedding earl and hung out in the bride's room with Aunt Jenna and all her sweet bridesmaids which of course included Auny Hailey!!

The kids had so much fun at the reception!!  They were dancing like crazy and running around playing with their second cousins and other cutie pie kids at the wedding!

 This little boy, John Blake, is adopted from China by some good family friends of Rick and Renee. He is adorable and he and Laney had such fun together!!  Later after I changed Laney into her jammies and she ran back out to play some more, John Blake came and asked me, "Where is the Laney in the white dress???"  So cute!!!  He and his family are in China right this minute picking up his new big sister, Man Yu.  I have been reading their blog like it is an addiction!!  www.youbelong.net/mcewens

Colt and Jenna had a candy bar of purple and orange candies!  Some people thought it was awesome!!!!  We were some of those people!

Aunt Jenna and Uncle Colt's Rehearsal!!!

We have had a whole month of wedding extravaganza at our house starting with Aunt Jenna's much anticipated wedding to our Uncle Colt!!!  He has been  "Uncle" for a long time now, but we were very glad to make it official on June 11th!!!!

The rehearsal for the wedding was really fun and the kids did a great job rehearsing their roles, but I didn't take any pictures.  I remembered to bust out my camera once we got to Aunt Donna's house for dinner!  The dinner was phenomenal in their beautiful backyard with live music and even a chance for some swimming!

The kids started off playing in Nonna's awesome backyard play area!

 Colt informed me that he has tons of pictures with Miles (not surprising, b/c Miles is crazy about him) but not many pictures with Sam, who also happens to love him lots!!!!

 the beautiful bride!!!  Poor, sweet Jenna was suffering from some pretty intense kidney stones.  At this point, she had already had surgery and was still sporting a stent to help decrease swelling.  You never would have known that she was really pretty uncomfortable.  She was so gracious and excited all night long!

 Our kids kicked off the swimming portion of the evening with enthusiasm.  I think that it was like 9:00 at this point, but Aunt Jenna only gets married once and we had so much fun!!!!

 Look at these two!!!  They are amazing and so much fun to be around.  Their wedding weekend was such a reminder of how blessed we are to have the precious family that we do!  AND now they live less than 5 miles from our front door!!!!

Swimming with Miss Suzy!!!

Laney, Claire and Tessie had swimming lessons the last week of school and first week of summer with Miss Suzy.  This was our second year with Suzy and I love her!  Laney was really anxious about starting swimming again this year, but after the first day, she was super excited about it every day!  I think that might be true for most kids, but it was pretty remarkable for Laney to warm up and get comfortable that quickly!
The last day of lessons, we get to go watch an exhibition of all their new skills!
They started off diving for rings on the steps!

Then they practiced floating face up in the water.

At the very end all three jumped in together.  Claire swam all the way to the other side of the pool and the little girls swam to Miss Suzy and her helper.
