Laney had a Rodeo at school last week. It was super cute! It was on a Friday, so I got to go for the whole thing and the brothers stayed home with Todd.
Laney was all cowgirled up! I made this skirt out of a pair of her old jeans and some pink bandana fabric!!! It was super easy! I have tons of old pairs of her jeans that still fit in the waist but are too short. I am just wondering how many days a week she can wear a denim skirt!!!!
Laney got to be grouped with her so sweet friend Masynn!! They did all the stations together!

Cow milking station. This one was pretty hilarious. Latex gloves with tiny holes pricked in the fingertips and then filled with milk!!!
They did a boot walk, and everyone won a Texas shaped sugar cookie!
I got to help out by making the cookies. I started off using the rolls of cookie dough that Laney's teacher sent home with me, but it was a nightmare!! The dough just spread out into blobs that hardly even resembled the Lone Star State! I jumped ship and made Jessica's signature sugar cookie dough recipe about halfway through! Looks like Laney and Masynn got some from the first blobby batch!!!
