Laney's real birthday was on a Monday, the day after her friend party and family party! She sure did where this birthday outfit that I made for her again! I just wanted to get maximum use out of it since she really can't wear it again after her birthday weekend!
She wanted to open a few of her remaining presents after she got home from school. Like this princesses nightlight!
I made this silly Fancy Nancy skirt. Laney always finds fabric in the remnant bins that she is desperate for! This Fancy Nancy number definitley fell in that category! She found it months and months ago and wanted a skirt so bad!
I got this audio book of Halloween stories, which was obviously very random! My kids were loving audio books for a while. It started with a read aloud Monsters Inc book and then we started checking lots out from the library! But, right before her birthday (after I already made this $3 purchase) my CD player totally croaked! It still had three library CDs in it. Todd had to take the whole dashboard apart to get them out! That being said, this book has seen zero action!!!
Laney got to pick anywhere for dinner and she chose the food court at the mall! Crazy girl!!! She wanted long noodles, of course. I kept trying to sell her on somewhere else, like a Hibachi restaurant or something, but she was all set to get spaghetti from the food court! And a stawberry smoothie!
Then she wanted to play on the indoor play area. I love that our six year old is still such a little girl about so many things! She still chooses Dora for a show and still has fun playing with her brothers on the indoor playground.
We capped off the evening with a ride on Laney's all time favorite carousel horse!
