Laney chose to have her sixth birthday party at her gymnastics gym, Aerials! It was perfect perfect perfect!!! She had an absolute blast and was 100% comfortable the whole time!
She chose a Hello Kitty theme, so we made Hello Kitty cakeballs to put on top of our strawberry cupcakes!
We made some of the cakeballs into cake pops to pass out as party favors!

The party started off with stretching on the floor with Coach Marcia! Laney was pumped about doing gymnastics with all of her friends. She loves the gym and Coach Marcia. She had not one second of anxiety or nerves. The gym is familiar territory and she loved being on her turf and showing all of her friends her stomping grounds!
"Lines" are one of Laney's favorite part of gymnastics. We play gymnastics a lot at our house and Laney is always the Coach telling me and the brothers all the different things that we need to do. Split jumps! Sashay! Cartwheel! Forward Rolls!!
Sam fell asleep on the way to Laney's party, so Todd brought him in with Lovey Bear to sleep on the floor. He stayed right here just like this for the entire party!
The girls split into groups and went to the different appartuses! Laney started at the bars, her favorite!

Every other year (except for her first birthday) Laney has freaked out a little bit during "Happy Birthday" time! She actually hid under the table at her fourth birthday! This year.....all smiles and sweet six year old excitement! She made me cry, I was so very proud of her!
So glad to get to celebrate with such sweet friends!
Laney got to open her presents on the big crash pad in the middle of the gym! She opened them with excitement and didn't mind one bit all those eyes on her. She started out with gifts from Claire and Tess even though Uncle Jack made her a practice beam that was waiting at home for her in our backyard. The girls also brought her something to support her other great love....playing school!!!
The Paredes girls brought us this totally awesome game! I had never heard of it before, but it is so so fun! We will hopefully have some Parewis Headbandz tournaments in the very near future!
Our sweet friend Kamryn got to come and we were delighted to see her. She and Laney have a really sprecial friendship! The rarely get to see each other, but just love love each other when they are together!
