FW Mini Train

One of the super sweet moms from the brothers' preschool class organized some summer playdates for the kids.  One of the first ones was a ride on the FW Mini Train.  It was on a day right after one of my Y classes, so we had to book it to get there.  I thought that we were going to miss the train's take off, so when it was still there when we pulled up, I raced out to buy tickets.  As we walked to board the train, I couldn't find anyone that I recognized.....because the playdate was for the next day!!  I am such a dork!

But, it was such a fun day for us to hang out with just each other and have such a great time!  It is always great to have distractionless time with my littles!!

 The train dropped us off at Trinity Park, so we walked on over and had our picnic at teh tables. 

 Enter this crazy lunch guest!  This raccoon was compeletely uninhibited!  I think that he would have jumped right on up to our table if we hadn't been freaking out so much!  He had to settle on dining out of the nearby trashcan!

 We walked down the bridge to splash our feet a bit in the water!  This was one of those perfectly jam packed, totally exhausting kind of mornings!!  Such a great summer day!
