4th of July Parade!

It it is the 4th of July, then we are at the Parade!!!  We picked up Bobbis and GPK and met up with Jack, who got there and secured an awesome spot for us super early, and the Goods!!

Light Up Arlington!

The night before the Fourth of July, we met up with the Goods and Bobberooski at Light Up Arlington!  We packed a picnic dinner and had a great time dancing around and playing while we waited for the fireworks!

 Laney really really loves Grant man.  And he is so sweet to indulge all of her snuggles!

All the fun the Mall has to offer!

We always save up the free Carousel ride coupons that come our way.  One day, a little while back, we decided to use the coupons to get discount prices on the all day ride bracelets for the carosuel!  It was definitely worth it.  We planned lots of mall activities so that we could keep coming back for more rides.  We rode 13 times!!!!

 Of course, the Battle Horse, saw lots of action!

 AFter a handful of rides, we took Laney, with some of her piggy bank money, to Claire's to pick out some treasures!  The brothers were super patient while she looked at every single thing in the store!

 The kids got some lunch at the food court. ( We sandwiched our lunch in between some carousel rides, of course!)

Then we went down to the play area for a little bit, and finished up our marathon mall experience with a few more rides!

Makeovers!

During a Good slumber party with Claire and Tessa, Laney and Tess opened up a make up salon that got a little carried away!

 Not suprisingly, Claire was uninterested in make up (she recently told Jess that she is allergic to make up...love that sporty girl) She worked diligently at creating artwork for us on this wipe board that some of my high school girls made for me!

 These two were cracking each other up!

 Wowza!! That make up is super greasy.  Tess had VBS the next day and even after we both tried to get it off,  Jess had to make sure her teachers knew that it was make up creating the hot pink tinge around her eyes!
